Role & Responsibilities:
Front-end JavaScript Developer (Web analytics)
Implement a tracking solution that meets the customer’s analytics needs, including the JavaScript code to be developed and the maintenance of libraries.
Develop and debug JavaScript code on multiple browsers to ensure proper measurement and tracking defined in the analytics measurement plan.
Develop tracking code with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager or any other related tool.
Configure the web analytics tool at the level of objectives, segments, and custom variables.
Discuss with the client to define the technical requirements of Web analytics measurement and plan the best possible solution.
Analyze a marking solution in place and make technical recommendations to improve it.
Quality Assurance Developer (Web analytics)
Collaborate with the client’s technical team in different development environments, to perform code quality assurance (QA) and ensure that the Web analytics tagging is working properly.
Plan and write test scenarios.
Estimate the efforts required to run the tests and execute them.
Analyze test results and provide progress to the team.
Follow up on anomalies.
Follow up on testing activities and write the necessary reports.
Automate test cases for automated tests.
Required:
Essential – Experience in HTML, JavaScript and jQuery development.
Essential – Experience in cross-browser debugging
Asset – In-depth knowledge of digital marketing and the various online acquisition channels.
Asset – Experience in implementing and configuring tagging solutions (such as Google Analytics) including advanced JavaScript code development, QA and library maintenance.
Asset – Optional Google Analytics certification (a +).
Asset – Knowledge of a tag manager such as Google Tag Manager (GTM)
Asset – Knowledge of the Web development cycle and agile methodology.
Asset – Statistical data analysis (Google Analytics)
Asset – Experience in relational databases (SQL), data extraction and transformation (ETL).
Asset – Knowledge of the Office suite
Asset – Experience with advanced formula manipulations in Excel and Visual Basic (VBA).
